A Lost Mind Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Lost Mind

Rating: 4.3

His mind slowly gave way
It left in little spurts
To see him this way now
Oh Lord how much it hurts

I’ve known him all my life
For he’s my brother, you see
But I had so many years
When he recognized me!

This may be short but in truth it tells a thousand words, having seen this debilitating disease first hand also with a family member, is heart breaking to watch, a fine poem on a terrible subject.
