A Parking Ticket Poem by nimal dunuhinga

A Parking Ticket

Rating: 5.0

It's payable and compulsory that I know well
And thank you so much my dear sir for the notice of a fine for illegal parking.
But I never expect that a parasite's tumbledown old crock parked in the paradise road is an offense?

* Long live my loving Mother-in-Law 'Virginia' and I bless you for an immediate recovery, thank you so much for giving me a right partner and I remember the bygone happy days together we enjoyed that would never come.Oh! we are scattered like quicksilver.

Very ironic. An interesting play on words. But what to do? One must belong somewhere. Excellent write, Nimal. I also appreciate the nostalgic postscript dedicated to your mother-in-law. Wishing her better very soon. Always your friend, Sandra
