A Perfect Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Perfect Love

Rating: 5.0

You inhabit me, you know,
As if we were one,
Thoughts of you surround me,
Never done.
Love is like that,
It's beginning without end,
It's the deepest ever feeling,
That we have for one another,
Upon which our lives depend.

Upon which our lives depend - And what a wonderful dependence that is: it summons trust, caring, gratitude, involvement, gentleness - so many kindred feelings are crowding the edges of your poem chanting, We belong here too, let us in!

I am going to disagree a little with my fellow commenters here.. If we do not believe in the power of love to last long, it may never do.. One may not love the same person forever (there can always be hindrances) , but that does not stop one to love the very idea of LOVE.. I prefer to be in love with Love.. And that can be beautiful, just like this poem.. Thank you for sharing Sandra.

I'm kinda with Mr. Agape on this one. May be I am just jaded. Power to those who experience and keep this.
