Abnormal Nature Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Abnormal Nature

If the Sun is too hot
the rich can install A.C. in their houses.
But what will the tin-sheet dwellers do my Lord?

If the rain is tantalising,
the workers in factories have no worries.
But what will the farmers do my Lord?

If the rowdies take law unto their hands,
kidnap children, molest girls and rob the houses,
what will the common man without links to parties do my Lord?

If the politicians go off the Gandhian ways,
and loot the public coffers,
What can the poor man do?
