She Makes A Walkout! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

She Makes A Walkout!

Rating: 5.0

You don't have a taste for the music of songs.
You smileto sneak into the hearts of all
and leave in a sudden making them grieve.
Your looks to lure and manoeuvresto catch
are excellent to match the wares of the whores!
Squating on the first step of fleeting wealth
You feign to be in the top with five stars!
You can amaze the dirty locals around
but you can't gain ground on the learned folks.
Your head is full of pride which searching minds lack
and you're a creature with no probing features.
You misuse the charms to deracinate
your balanced preys for a while to derange
but soon you'll lose the place encroached
In their honest minds to make a walkout
with a bent head and face marred and ashamed!

Oh God! Unkind humanity! Ungrateful mankind! The creatures out there are our friends! Stop the mindless violence! Stop the cruel slaughter! We are thankful to you Sir! For this timely slaughter. For my part I shall refrain from eaten meat!

The irony in the last para' touches the heart. There is a wrong notion that non-vegetarian food only gives strength to the body. Actually my opinion is not so. Let us all mankind be veggies so that we don't harm animals and birds for 'filling our bellies.'Nice poem, Sir. Thanks and best wishes

Birds of varied hues and contours are a source of perennial joy! How they map their aerial routes and return to their nests is still a wonder to me! ! Without these feathered folks and their enchanting songs, how barren our lives would have been! ! Enjoyed this visit to the bird sanctuary! !

If people only were like bird, they wouldn`t kill and hurt each other at least. I think the topic of the poem is not only the relations between humans and nature, but the interaction between nations, nationalities and personalities. A great poem. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for your thought provoking interpretation. Lines one or two in a poem with deeper meaning appeal to people who are deep thinkers. Thanks a lot.
