Across Our Thoughts Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Across Our Thoughts

Across our thoughts every notion goes
Sweet reflections of the light there turning
The hours of flickering flames burning
Which into tomorrow come in their glows?
The memory ways in the forward rows
With view from the sky in roads of learning
How clouds drift on through in each turn yearning
Its horizon breezing wind circling blows

You and I settle here for what we might give
Standing to fulfill what we discover
Through every learning there to follow
Turning in opportunities relive
The dreams in air with the sights that hover
Fulfilled purpose and those that are hollow
