DEEP DARK SOUL POET
Alone with me...
A pocket of dreams gone soggy
Washed in the laundry of life
Drawn out and stretched
In the crisp morning air to dry
Wet in the mornings sparkling dew
Tired under the rising sun
Sleepy beneath the shadow of trees
Cold in the dark chilly night
The day travelled on its way.
Lost in a crowd of others
Working for the loney heart
Wandering in the absence of light
Hearing the shadows chatter away
The world moved on without me.
Confessing words of silence
Stumbling on broken feelings
Imagining a better situation
Watching all those pass by
The others that easily forget me.
Giving my best to all
Eating up emotions when I know the past
Seeing through the invisible mistakes
Loosing my every desire for them
Ignored is what I hope to be by others.
Throwing love into the fire of hope
Drawing my life on pieces of blank paper
Thinking of re-inventing the mirrored image
Using all my strength to make it better
The tangeble breaks away, leaving me behind
Spending time thinking of space
Approaching the on-coming seconds
Walking on the road to nowhere
Mourning on what had been done when nothing is expected
I've been the one left alone by so much.
The days passed away
The seconds were soon over
The seasons came and went
The lives were fed and died
The promises were made and soon forgotten
All absurdities and miracles came and went
The world moved on and I'm still here…
Alone with me....
