ALPHA AND OMEGA Poem by Tony Cox

IT IS WRITTEN THAT YOU CAN NEVER WALK AWAY FROM LOVE.
LOVE IS THE ONLY CLEANSER OF YOUR SOUL.
IT WIPES AWAY THE BLEMISHES YOU PUT ON IT’S PURITY.
IT WASHES AWAY THE SCARS OF TIME.
IN MY HEART I HAVE CROSSED OCEANS OF TIME.FOR, JUST A GLIMPSE OF AN EARTH BORN ANGEL.
YOU ARE THE FIRST AND LASTOF ME.
MY ALPHA AND OMEGA.
THE STORMS FROM THE SEA OF LIFE HAVE TOSSED ME TO AND FRO.
YET MY PATH HAS AND STEADFASTLY BEEN IN SEARCH OF YOU.
EVEN THOUGH THE ROCKS HAVE CUT MY HEART.
MY QUEST FOR YOU HAS NEVER STUMBLED.
MY MIND THIRST FOR THE MUSIC TO THE LYRICS IN MY HEART.
THAT ONLY YOU CREATE.
MY THIRST SHALL BE UNTIL THE FINAL CHAPTER IN MY BOOK OF LIFE.
YOU ARE THE REDEMPTION I HAVE SOUGHT AFTER.
JUST AS A MOTH IS ALWAYS DRAWN TO THE LIGHT.
SO IS MY SOUL TO THE LIGHT OF YOU.
I VOW THAT AS LONG AS YOUR LIGHT IS SHINING.
I WILL NEVER HUNGER FOR ANY OTHER.
