An Electrical Storm
Remember the thunder and sharp lightning
from a violent storm that was born
when the old house homed you
from a terrifying night forlorn.
Fear and uncertainty reigned
and the roaring wind did not wane,
with the lightning like a beacon
flashing through the windowpane.
