An Incomplete Celebration on a Grave! !

Its your birthday sweetheart....
i got you your favorite flowers..
red roses.. as you always liked them..
wrapped around a note..
which reads...I still love you.....
and hey..don't look at my tears again...
because you are the reason for this monsoon train..

i also brought a gift for you..
that red gown you always wanted to wear..
and then walk hand in hand with me..
on the red carpet...across that big hotel..
and we would loose ourselves in the ecstasy of our company..
never to look back again to the world..
which devoid us for so long..
do you remember your brother punched me....
and your dad almost shot me with that gun...
but yes i remember your mom....angel with a demon...
here you go.. I’ll keep ur gift at ur feet...
you are asleep now..
but when you’ll wake up u will see...

and here are your chocolates..
rum you wanted them to be..
i haven’t eaten them yet..but i will soon if you don’t..
i remember the first time...we shared it...for the lips to taste each other..
i can still feel that taste on my lips..
and how you pulled away.
and then again you would smile..
to tempt me again..
and we would do it all through the night...

you remember all that...
look at you now..when you have set your course away...
left me with a craving..that will die with my heart..
ur epitaph reads.. My sweet in peace..
and you took that missing piece away from me..
and my heart still bleeds...
its your birthday today, u know that..
what am i gonna do with all these gifts.
leave them on ur grave and go silently..
or stand here...look at you and curse my fate..
which sealed you dead..
just when we came close...
what..huh tell me what to do...
you took all that was mine..
my peace, my rest, myself..
and then you wud come in my dreams..and love me like hell..
i wake up only to realise it was the pillow i had clutched hard to my chest..
and it was air..out of which i tried to pull you close to me...

Its your birthday honey,
and you are long gone..
i miss you...ur arms..ur smile...
i miss you like deserts miss the rain..
everytime i bring this blade...
to cut myself and join you dere...
but everytime i hear you whisper...
don't do it love...i shall love you the same....

here take your presents....
i'm gonna leave...
the rain's gonna pour down..
and i'll take a long long walk..
so these one can see....
so these one can see...

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
