An Intrepid Anticipation Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

An Intrepid Anticipation

Rating: 5.0

Living in an intrepid anticipation waiting for the exact
moment that will light up and entertain this mind, as a
black bird flies into the night looking for a place to
sleep.

Capturing reasons that seemed logical at the time, reflec-
tions of rainbow colors beaming silently into the twilight
surrounding us sitting here at the Sicilian Butcher while
eating dinner.

Touching all feelings that had been laid aside for a while,
still aching to become a part of the conversations and enter-
tainment in a bundle of thoughts that continue to join music
and its rhythms.
