Another Abuse - The Young Lady At Heart Poem by Matt Mondschein

Another Abuse - The Young Lady At Heart

another abuse
a young lady of beauty
black and blue bruises
from her thighs
to her eyes

a young lad
so tough and untrue
to pick on a frail girl
I only wish he'd give me a whirl

It makes me sad
to not witness what I know would be
he smacked her, simply because, she forgot to put sugar
in his coffee

one day, I know he'll get his due
as many devilish demons due
as she leaves him, anonymously
hanging from a tree
then comes her destiny
peace
eternally
