Apologies - I Love Her Poem by Emma Woods

Apologies - I Love Her

Rating: 3.0

I'm sorry I don't love you in the way that you love me
I'm sorry I'm half broken in the way paranoia's seen
There's nothing really that I could say to make this any more
Because I don't feel what you do and because my heart is torn
'Cuz it's the blue eyed girl who makes me laugh
And it's the blue eyed girl I want so much
It's the blue eyed girl whom I've fallen in love
And it's her I want to cradle in my arms
The blonde haired girl is the one I want
The one who makes me feel I belong
The one who opens up to the truth
I'm sorry my dear I love her not you
It feels asthough you suffocate me when you're always right beside
You call me 'babes' and it's all the same I'm sorry I can't deny
I am your friend but I'm afraid I can't be much more
And I'll say it 'til I'm blue in the face until my lips are sore
'Cuz it's the fair skinned girl who stole my heart
It's the fair skinned girl who's lips I can't
'Cuz she's the one I want and have for so long
She's the one I need who's kiss I'd love once
It's I who beg for the hand I could never have
And I'm the one who's heart's torn to my love
Because sh makes me smile like no one else ever could
But I'll keep her my friend true like it's in my blood
