Applauding Poets Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Applauding Poets

Some poets will speak loudly, heartily, cavorting
back and forth in front of an audience.

Others, quiet, somewhat shy and unpretentious,
some nervous poets shake and jitter, mouths all dry.

Poets can prattle and carry on conversations, all of
them partaking in uplifting prose and being applauded.
