As Long As We Wash Our Hands Poem by Hebert Logerie

As Long As We Wash Our Hands

As long as we wash our hands with soap
We will survive
As long as we don't take and share dope
We will survive.

Don't shake the hands of your friends
Simply wave and say hello to your neighbors
Be courteous and offer a distant hand to others
Use all types of soap, not from major brands.

As long as we keep the coronavirus at bay
We will survive
I pray that the scientists push it away
By finding a cure to keep us alive.

The world is panicking; this is a pandemic
Thank God that young people are doing fine
Old people should be cautious and not panic
Because the coronavirus is truly out of line.

As long as we don't contaminate each other
We will survive
Gloria Gaynor is a great singer and a survivor
We will survive.
