Mad Woman,
Where are you kept?
Hidden amongst the others
Those like you,
Injected with apathy
Snorting their pills
Just another
Hideous face
In the corridors
Plain lady,
Lipstick smeared
Across your face
Stop biting your nails
Quit scratching your cuts
Who has last visited,
Your mother
Or your lover?
Circus act, freak
You are the main show
Do they bring flasks
To your meetings?
Have they come to watch
You frolic in the trees?
Happy, carefree
As your nurse
Tugs on your leash
'Come here, girl
Your medicine is ready! '
This is unlike anything I have ever read. It's completely different and tells a story of an unknown world. I love this poem!
I enjoyed this poem for several reasons and have featured it on my social media page: @sevenyearsinsane
Great poem. I've seen a lot of things In my time and this poem is bang on. Take a look at my poem called dreams Of a child. With how things was in them Days in england you was always on the Edge of madness if you had a bad family Life. Really good write.
that is sooo sad, it's like... oh, there are no words, .... it's sooo good. It's amazing how yoou spin words, I think you are AMAZING!
Bad stories for uneducated and underprivileged asylum seekers be it due to war and or be they are economic. In Canada with its 70% english and 30% french counterparts were also imports from Europe due to Hitler.I dunno how people welcomed them the residents then and now it is the world almost living there be it not not much germans. But the conditions of people are in first occasion very precarious when they come with no backgrounds or education.I dunno what degree of chances they have from governments depending upon the acceptance ratio but god bless them become into worth-mentioning and renowned immigrants
