At One Point, There Was Plenty Of Love

Rating: 5.0

At one point, there was a lot of love between us
In fact, there was a lot of feelings and plenty of lust
We had sparkles in our eyes, and big plans for the future
We had many dreams, and were ready for the adventure.

We are now both dumbfounded, we got lost in time
By fighting over trivial things that were worth less than a dime
We were at fault; we were responsible for our immaturities
We got carried away and got swept by the wind of nonsense.

We had lost a great deal: love, money, home, and friends
That was a learning experience. This world is full of vanities
And we, humans, make inadvertent mistakes. In spite of all

We must go on to better things. We had to crawl and fall
So we could move on. There was a lot of love between us
A great deal of emotions, and of course, plenty of volatile lust.
