At Sunset Poem by Sandra Feldman

At Sunset

Rating: 5.0

At Sunset,
At the end of the day's spheres,
That turn, with their unrelenting fears,
Everything seems less clear,
We are a bitter mystery,
Nothing to write home about,
Or cheer.

hmmm... i particularly like sunsets, sandra, for the light, the long shadows- see my poem just fifteenth street first drafted years ago when i lived in new york city where i was brought up... on the lorca quote, it'd be interesting to sit around a table with him and you to discuss it. i tend to think hope and love are two of the basic food groups necessary for wholesome living. -glen
