Basti Jalti Rahi! !

basti jalti rahi,, dhua uthta raha us khwab ka jise saawara tha,,
aashiq ki jaan nikalti rahi...aur unke liye nazara tha...

dard se mohabbt ho gayi...thokaro se naawaza gaya,
woh jiise palko pe bithakar kar rakhte the log, ajj use har sitam gawara tha..

rota nahi woh ab, ke ro chuka bahut..
ek ek ko khak hote dekha hai usne..woh jisse kehta apna sahara tha...

aaj bhi ghabrata hai hosh mein aane se woh kamzarf
bolta hai duniya se behoshi mein...dekho abhi abhi usne mujhe pukara tha....

sawalon ke bhavar mein..usne ik umaer gawa di hai...
puchta hai aksar tanhai se....sitam pesha hai uska...ya bewafai uska karobar-o nazara tha..

aurak se mila tha ek din..woh jo tha apni maut se kareeb,
lipat kar kehna laga..aa rahi hai bardi der se kambakth..maine to bahut pehle se pukara tha...

Poem of the Day

poet Robert William Service

Three times I had the lust to kill,
To clutch a throat so young and fair,
And squeeze with all my might until
No breath of being lingered there.
Three times I drove the demon out,
