Be Cheerful Poem by Jyoti Patil

Be Cheerful

Be cheerful and encouraging
Leave criticising and complaining
Be buoyant and spirited
Crooning and craving for complacent pass
Gentle murmuring like sound of brook.

Soft flowing cascade, caressing all our cares and worries,
Weariness and wanton weeds to be shun,
No broken hearts, no bruised emotions,
No expectation from others but be the prop to all.

Be cheerful and encouraging
Leave worries and wickedness
Be careful and caring for the hapless beings,
Change gently and touch softly to soothe
Gushing, receding, sunny and cloudy days to come.

Let not dejection or despondency overtake you
No dusty dreams, no downcast dross,
No chunky jealousy no finding faults,
No acrimonious resentment for others but have love for all.

Be cheerful and encouraging
No malice, no enmity,
No hostility, and no grudge at all.
