Be There, My Brethren Poem by Hathy Tong

Be There, My Brethren

Rating: 5.0

Be there, my brethren
To see me past this long, long night.
Be there, my brethren
To give me the courage to find the light.
For there comes the time where I shall fall,
Be there, my brethren.

When the song of the nightingale chimes,
When the story of the long, long lost is spoken,
When the good prevails and the evil has uprooted;
Be there, my brethren
To see me past this long, long night.

Let you continue the light we cast,
Let you continue the chant we cry,
Let you continue to carry our torch,
Be there, my brethren
To see me past this long, long night.

For there comes the time where I shall fall,
Be there, my brethren.
Release your grasp on fantasy,
See reality.
For there comes the time where I shall fall,
Be there, my brethren.
