Beautiful People Poem by Ragy Sandid

Beautiful People

Rating: 5.0

They graced my life
With that single step
That took me further
Then I would have ever leapt

A few words of solace
Is all it took
Just saying the right words in the right place
And my soul shook

Just a phone call
Just claiming the past is not dead
A swimming pool big enough for all
Words well done, well said

They claim me human
Not a tire that is tired
I claim them more than human
I claim them inspiring the inspired

Imagine humanity incarnate
Then imagine more than that
Imagine those who liven love's debate
Then admit to those who make love a fact
