Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Before My Lord - Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

I am prostrate
lying
in a horizontal
position

in a position
of humility.

I am not
overcome
with exhaustion
flat

upon my back
or stomach.

I have cast
myself down
before
my Lord

creator of
Heaven and Earth.

This is
prostration
before
my Living God

I do not reject
his gift 2000 years old.
