Young beauty forces love, and that’s a rape,
there’s far more willingness in middle-age
when lovers do not look for an escape,
together trapped before old age can rage.
It was Donne, in the elegy 'The Autumnal, ' who observed that 'Young Beauties force our love, and that's a Rape.'

Nice one, Gershon. As I mentioned to someone else, we formalists and near-formalists must stick together. Stricture, a sense of meter, and music still handily carry the day in poetry.
