Being A Good Dude Poem by Randy McClave

Being A Good Dude

Rating: 5.0

I hate sounding berating and crude
But, it sucks being a good dude,
Especially in a generation where girls don't commit
And for your help they don't ever appreciate it.
You treat them the way that they should be treated
To them you don't lie, or use, or never cheated,
You treat them good and just because;
Then they leave you for the Devil of a man that does.
They start telling others their pity and their lies
But, other women see quickly through their disguise,
Just for pity and drama while seeking sympathy
From another person's heart they seek their key.
I know that if I had a daughter
My wife or I would have raised and taught her,
To always in a man to see out honor and respect
And never to seek out worries, pain or regret.
Some women seemingly want to be treated badly
They are then happily mistreated by their man gladly,
From the women that I have known and also viewed;
It truly sucks being a good dude.
