Beyond The Waves Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Beyond The Waves

Raking thoughts as they fall within a waterfall, letting go
and sliding down into a pool of water below, splashing water
touching this little soul.

Feeling a solemn grace and blessings coming from above, just
leaving all in canyons and ravines of a past life, never slow-
ing down and being energized solely through rhythms.

Enjoying the fastest pace ever, stomping in an array of light
from strobe lights flashing just above, learning how to dis-
play the energy without blurring any of it.

Faster and faster, stepping into a vagrant wonder that follows
intellect throughout life, creating a fascinating and wonder-
ful pathway to travel all the days of this innocent life.

Caring about others and their feelings and emotions, trailing
traces of empathy steadily moving across and into the void
of tomorrow's dimension.

Being beyond the waves of an interior ocean, tides coming in
and out without ever tiring or quitting, settling down and
writing to musical rhythms sliding across frets of a guitar.

No hesitation at all, never questioning the thrill being
felt each and every time when writing poetry to rapid tempos,
loving every moment because it takes one calmly into an in
terior peace of the divine, a bluened light never failing
this being within/
