On my Grandfather's birth, you were 12 years old
saluting the soil, ridden with blood of martyrs
When my Grandfather reached the age of 12
you were a 24-year-old beaming young man
it was your time of martyrdom

When my grandfather became a young man
you still were a 24-year-old beaming young man
When my father became a young man
you were a 24-year-old beaming young man
When I became 24-year-old
you still were a
24-year-old beaming young man
I became 25,26,27, .........,37 years old
you remained a 24-year-old beaming young man

On my every birthday
I march towards old age by one year
You on every martyrdom day
remain a 24-year-old beaming young man

Although all mothers shower blessing on their sons
May you live long; May you enjoy youth
but you indeed are ever living
24-year-old beaming young man
you enjoy the youth forever
and those who are yet to be born
you are of the same age as those young men

Bhagat Singh a great patriot of India. Still now he is emblemed as youthfulness. In exchange of his and other great soul's sacrifice, India become free. He is an ideal for you young generation. We salute him.
