Bounce Back Poem by nikki irvine

Bounce Back

Bounce back to my love,
Bounce me off the ground,
Push me down,
And I will bounce right back,
I am stronger than before,
Can you see me now? ?

Here on this yacht,
In the middle of the night,
The stars shine so bright,
And the moon rides on high.

The shadows dwell,
In the light of the moon,
The fairies and pixies come out to bathe,
And to play in this endless night.

I stand and I stare,
As you come up from behind,
And put your arms around me,
You hold me tight,
I feel safe,
And I wish this moment,
Would never end.

But back in the day,
I wish,
I could be in love again,
I still remember,
To what it was like,
Now,
I am back into the present,
And I look back,
And I wish I could

Just bounce back.

I was drawn to this poem because of the title. I have one with the same title. Actually, it's a limerick and so I have it listed this way: Limerick: Bounce Back I enjoyed reading yours.
