In My Mind Poem by nikki irvine

Rain falls down i do care,

But the sun does all but stop and stare,

Cows on the horrizon dont crave the attention of the passer by as he walks quickly out of my sight,

The planes fly over on their flight,

Making me wish i was up there too,

The hum of the motorway in the background carrying all of that noisy traffic passing me by,

Which is coming and going to places where i dont know,

While im in that quiet state of mind, chilling and listening to the birds chipper away as they sit in their trees

And listening to the Harry Haundinii trying to escape, out of his stable,

Which brings me back into this world and out of my mind! !
