*Brush-off
I see
Your fall
Instead of
Picking up
I brush you off
But allow
To take
A try
Again.
I see
Your mistakes
Instead of
Correcting
I let you
To find
Your own way
Though silently
I drink
Poisonous pain
And ocean -sorrow.
I see you cry
Instead of
Wiping out
I let you
To shed tears
To wash
The dart
Accumulated
Long
Inside
To see
The things
Clean and afresh.

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
Maya Angelou
Very strong poem of letting our children and friends make and learn from their own mistakes.
Rather than empowering them to fail over and over. Good points in this poem and very well written.
Beautiful expression of doing something good for the emancipation fo someone who is struggling and we do it for their own good. an interesting poem!
