I cannot love when my heart is shared by the one who hates me.
As long as I and she are we, you and I will never be.
Hopefully in time when I catch your eye,
you will understand that I have to say goodbye.

We have to let this die; she is no longer my hidden alibi. She is part of me; all of me, always there and she never cares.
About how I feel, how you feel, how anyone feels.
It does not matter; it is of no relevance to her quest to be real as flesh and bone.
She makes me feel so alone, there is no escape from her essential being.

She has taken over me, and is forever seeing.
But do not fear I will be there for you always, just close your eyes and I will be there beyond the depths of her eyes.
