Love's Light Poem by Maddie 'Rae' Berry

So many times I have sat down there,
watching a happy pair of lovers,
walking on a pavement covered in
light.
They had a kind of glow about them,
it almost looked like true love's light.
I thought I would never know,
that tender, loving glow.
Though I wish with all my might....
'was I never made for love's light? '
Then suddenly a angel has said they
couldn't live without me
who's sweet kisses bought me
back to life.
Which made my heart seem so light,
might it be love's true light?
