Times are changing,
The skies are mottled a smoky grey, as birds fly away to a warmer climate,
Leaves flutter and fall, russet, brown and gold brighten the day,
The fire is lit as red flames dance and play,
It's heat is comfort in the daily chill, just autumn's way,
Our passion is still afloat sailing in tranquil waters around the bay,
Emotions wrapped warmly with your tender embrace,
We hold hands as we see a moonbeam that we try to chase,
Stars sparkle with the glow of love upon your face,
We chatter in a comfortable pattern like handwoven lace,
Beautiful to behold,
Stars shimmer but seem so far,
Driving at night through Carlow town in your old Toyota car,
Space of darkness as silence breathes easily,
With our desires an eternal flame that is the key,
To our continued happiness, as the moon winks and smiles,
As we drive home with the power of no lies,
Just our simple truth of chasing a moonbeam,
Because we are a united team,
As we love and live the dream.
