Cheri Poem by Octavius Johnson

Cheri

As you get older, you
Reminience on what, when, who
Those paths not taken, those
Things left undone or forgotten foes
I think back to a missed chance
A lost kiss or a missed dance
I have a memory of a lovely walk
Enjoying the company and the talk
And it brought thoughts of times in class
How me and my friend would harass
With the times being joyful and merry
Thank you for fond happy memory, Sweet Cheri!
