Cherished Childish Joys

We
Scared boys
Caught inside
the hearts of
grown men
Fearing loss
of cherished
childish joy

I remember
childhood
Christmas past
How sister broke my toy
I cried but survived
Having lost
my One favorite
I'm not always sure
about what happens
next when the crying
heart stops

poet Li Po

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting
