Childless Individual Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Childless Individual

Rating: 2.8

It is difficult to lead life as childless individual
There is nothing as such that you can’t treat it as casual
Yet there is need for it and felt severely sometimes
You are cursed and criticized sometimes as if have committed crimes

Majority of the people still think it as curse
Life is meaningless, hollow and nothing else
We are here on earth to produce the children
Die or depart from the face of earth when comes turn

Even if that point is disregarded for a moment
Still there remains vacuum to be filled and resent
After all children are means to lead life for future
Stay here, make it comfortable and assure

Some of the features are performed as a routine
Life will have to be made colorful and fine
If garden is not looked after well and taken care
It may bear deserted look and simply look bare

Garden is called only when there are beautiful flowers
With beautiful appearance and fragrance after rainy showers
Like wise we go on with our mission after birth on beautiful earth
Stay aligned with soil and confronts the problems till the death

If things were to move on with calibrated scale
It would have surely stagnated and gone stale
Life would have been like artificial flowers
Without smell with good look sans odors

Child is considered to be massager from the almighty
It brings heavenly message with fortune to make us happy
Life is booming with great aspirations and enthusiasm
Gives new lease of life to show some worth and contribute to humanism

If it was simply a life and death cycle
It would have lost charm and remained as bubble
Yet it has some aim and compulsion
Life is led with some firmness and confusion

Re: Childless life (Score: 1) on Friday, December 02,2011 (19: 15: 28) ancy Wells Lovely thoughtful write...I also had no biological children of my own but had many in my life as a teacher and as a human being. There are always children that need nurturing just waiting for love and understanding from someone so I did not feel that loss. I am more of the mind that we have a soul purpose and that can come in many forms. Sometimes it manifests out of the box but it is the road we must follow in order to complete ourselves in this incarnation. I know I am walking the road less traveled but it is the road I am meant to walk on. This can not be decided societally but has to be found spiritually. 4 hours ago · Like Reply to This | Parent | Delete Re: Childless life (Score: 1) on Friday, December 02,2011 (19: 28: 54) Rebecca Soto Oh I do adore you're page! There used to be a way to add a page to favorites but I don't see that option now.....do you know if it's still there? I like to see other people's points of view. I feel there is more you wanted to say, but you couldn't because you were somewhat imprisoned by your rhyme.8 hours ago · Unlike · 1

Sylvia Frances Chan God Bless All Human Beings living on Earth as it is in Heaven, All kind of people on this Planet, Every Creature of Him, Every Soul, Also the Birds that are flying and looking for food. God Loves, Blesses and Nurtures All Kinds in this Universe, Mr. Jadia4708au! ! Those who look down to you as if you have committed crimes, they have no authority to curse you! As long as we live here and believe in God, He has for each of us a certain task: Please look around you, then YOU'll know what kind of task. Like Jenny has that task...so sweet of her to tell us God has a reason, but that IS THE TRUTH, i cannot say something else. As God arranges our lives, we accept everything He gives us. It is not always easy, i must admit, but where there is a will, there'll be a way....GBU Always! Good tribute on Childless life and thank you so much for sharing.

Deletepatspoems Sometimes, like me, God doesn't bless us with children. It is heartbreaking but we have to accept he has a reason. I have always been close to nieces and nephews, perhaps more so than if I had had children. They have been able to tell me their problems when they felt they couldn't discuss them with their parents. I was never looked down on because I didn't have children, it wasn't my choice, it was God's choice and who are we to query his decision...... Pat
