Rating: 5.0

Save children from the hands of their parents
They exert unjustified pressure upon them
To bring success home
In which they attempted and failed
It is not only a torture
But also it snatches their life
Let a child grow like a calf
Let it bloom like a flower in jungles, wild
Where no parents present to teach their rotten etiquette s
No one chides or punishes them for their little mistakes
No burden of bearing any customs
Nothing is dropped upon their shoulders in the name of traditions.
Parents should be congratulated for their own belief
But save children from being forced
To follow their outdated faith
In the name of bringing up a polite and faithful child
So many astounding possibilities have been nipped in the bud.

Beliefs being forced upon children without giving them other options is suffocating their minds. syykkogrl3 hours ago I think this is a great poem with a wonderful point.

Powerful Message Tracy Bollinger3 hours ago You hit the nail on the head. How can they make the world a better place if they're forced to parrot our beliefs. We see where that got us.
