Churches And Cemeteries Poem by Marilyn Lott

Churches And Cemeteries

Whether traveling or simply taking a ride
I always love when I come upon
Churches and cemeteries
A part of history is where they belong.

It is a place to say a prayer as well
I get chills as I stand and look
At where people have made their mark
And are acknowledged in my book.

So when I found this quiet place
In Hattisburg, Mississippi
I had the desire to share with you
This picture that I wanted you to see.
