Comes Again... Poem by Nestor David Armas

Comes Again...

She came

She went

We had adventures

Never a goodbye in between,

Now I know why,

She's back again,

Here to stay?

She says so,

I won't hold her to it,

Promise,

I've lived through lies,

But I want to find truth,

Saved a little of me,

Just for the likes of her,

I'm here always,

Waiting,

Loyal I can be,

Loving I can be,

A shoulder,

A crutch,

If she let's me,

Only God knows,

Where the next;

Adventure lies,

I know I'm in it,

99%,

Because my heart,

Only has a rhythm;

She can beat,

Let her strum her tune,

I'm listening,

One ear to her soul,

The other to the skies,

Clouds come away,

If the sun shines,

I'm going to the beach,

And if it storms,

I'll pack up,

And go home,

Wait it out,

Until the next summer,

If she comes again...
