Committing Infractions Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Committing Infractions

Feeling the burn of racism once again here at the center,
waiting to use the computer for quite a while, having al-
ready signed in over an hour ago.

A man comes walking in and the mexican secretary gets the
computer out immediately so he can use it, even though I've
been waiting all this time.

Tired of being treated like trash by this woman, a friend
coming to pick me up so I can use her computer to post my
poetry.

Already having called our Councilman, waiting for a call
back so we can meet and talk over all these violations
and infractions employees are committing against seniors.
