Confusion Of The Worst Kind Poem by Jackie Crow

Confusion Of The Worst Kind

Rating: 5.0

See you there,
All alone,
My heart makes a little tear.

When you say nothing to me,
All alone in my pain,
I wish you could see.

What's in your eye,
Once overjoyed me,
Now makes me cry.

If you see,
Say you know,
It's hidden in me.

So shallow,
Beneath the surface,
Pain is sending me to the gallow.

Why is it so hard,
To admit the truth,
While my heart is burnt and charred?

I love you,
I hate you,
You confuse.
