Constipation Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Constipation

Constipation.
Can be compared to a kept patience.
Sometimes it stays to aggravate and annoy.
Until one no longer can take,
The unmoving of ignorance others decide.
To remain testing the nerves,
Of someone done to do.
As if to enjoy this just to pursue.

And then that day relief comes.
When the flow of what was tolerated.
Goes away.
To know one's prayers have been answered.
With faith kept to keep.
Knowing God always proves to do and show.
To anyone fed up with all the crap.
God is there.
Removing to soothe one from headache.
Done to do with a proving,
A kept steadfast faith to keep that way.
Can even move mountains.
Whether believed to feel,
The presence of them will remain to stay.
Faith to keep,
Eventually provides all the relief one needs.
