Treasure Island

DEEP DARK SOUL POET

(09/1965 / Australia)

Contemplate On Life Often

Pain is like a torrential raging river
From the mountains thundering down
Death is like the dark side of the moon
which hides the night without a sound

Love is like a buried treasure
Rare and very hard to find
Hate hangs on like a curse
Which is hard to leave behind

Life is not the easiest at times
With many struggles and defeat
But if you make no effort
Life and love will never meet

Pain and death are very simple
Yet life is very hard from the start
And if you take the wrong path
You'll never do your part

So contemplate on life often
Look deep inside and open your eyes
Because the deepest pain will help you
Right till you take your very last rise

As the golden light grows nearer
And you know death is on its way
Summon upon the pain to help you
Create the last thing you'll ever say

Pain is like a river; flowing through my heart
Death is like the moon; which plays a major part
Love is like a treasure; your lucky to receive
Hate is like a curse; a life threatening disease

poet Rupert Brooke

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
