Creature Poem by Lucifera Santez

Creature

Rating: 4.5

It is a cold world,
All this pain,
All this rage,
Do you know its my homage?
Yeah that’s what I have become,
A creature feeding on despair,
A freak relishing in pain,
You made me this,
Don’t you remember,
You fashioned this deranged me,
After you burned my soul,
And trapped me in this hideous mortality,
So yes I laugh when I should cry,
I give up when I should try,
You broke me,
And now here I am,
Celebrating my downfall with yet another sin,
Grandly for world to see………………….

In Lucifera's mirror I see myself a creature That crept from desks gratified And tried to be the teacher But soon became the student And them became a dream And then a stupid nightmare Where walls are velveteen. O Lucifera's mirror A kiss for your reflection Or worthy of remembrance In all the world's perception. Are we but eve-less dawns Or English theme-less songs My weakness, seems less strong As I accept my wrongs And me, I see more clearer In Lucifera's mirror. P.X 11_26_13_ 2: 35AM

I do not believe it is a cold world yet oh there are some COLD and callous humans out there. But life is about survival and can we survive it? Thank you Lucifera
