Curmudgeons are Very Funny People Yet All Too Often Overlooked as Such |

Curmudgeons are funny people; churlish and often times critical, they don’t tend to fair well as stand up comedians. Though some have tried and died a thousand deaths, drawing laughs at all the wrong respites. They soon turn to writing poetry but alas, it’s horribly true, that once a curmudgeon, you tend to remain a curmudgeon.

I sense an obtuse, complimentary backhand at a self-proposed 'chameleon' of poetic dissertation. The curmudgeon (meaning idiot) earning this laudatory description wouldn't have a clue how lachrymose-praiseworthy his critical inanity is. Or his pathetic attempts at verse. But stand-up, stand-alone comic? You gotta be kidding. He has to be the fat, balding fall guy in a tragic duo! Rgds, Ivan |
