Curses Of The Slaughtered People Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Curses Of The Slaughtered People

Rating: 2.8

Locked down in panic fear, I was shocked
to know the prediction by Mayan's Calendar,
the earth will be submerged on 21 June.
Caught between Covid and 21 June fatal day,
we are nowhere to go from our shutdown.
It is a tussle between the devils
Scylla and Charybdis!

The NASA scientists assure safety
as there are no evidences for thecause.
But asymptomatic both Covid and the final day.
If the aliens from other planets
lend hand to save this globe, it'll be good.
If the whole earth shatters to pieces
the Solar System will lose its balance.

Lemurien continent in Indian ocean,
the tsunamis swallowed ancient land of the Tamils,
comes to our mind and augurs that such things
may happen to earth and the people get washed away.

The powerful nations put the innocent people of Eelum
to death, extending support to the cruel Sinhalese.
The curses of the poor decimated in Ealam
and others elsewhere arenot soluble in air.
No evil is lesser of the other. Both Covid
and Mayan's warning are harmful to people.
