Daisies Poem by Mark Heathcote

Daisies

Daisies are unique flowers
they have just two eiders
one is yellow, for me
the other is white for you.

Daisies are unique flowers
they have just two colors
you're my white corona.
I am your sun's yellow center.

But I'd never swap yours
for mine or mine for yours.
White love is the best kind,
yellow's-slightly, less refined.
