Dancing Desires Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Dancing Desires

Desires awakening inside my brain, tempting me
endlessly, wanting attention to be paid to them.

Yet, here I am writing all around them, watching
as they dance and allowing freedom needed to let
me continue writing.

Satisfying inner feelings while giving up the
emotions to this pen, I live in literature of my
own invention.

Knowing that no one else can keep up with my
thoughts, they rhythmically take me into
dimensions only I can become in, as they are mine
alone.
