Deciduous Vines Poem by Mohammed Hassan (Piracy In The Mediterranean)

Deciduous Vines

Scene I
Play the aria of my name
As the violins in rapture play
Abruptly the feeling
I will not resist overwhelms
Then silence dominates anew
Well, Persona Grata
That's what you all will come for
To be unleashed
Till then for you I wait

Scene II

Come, come, come, come, I pray thee
Draw near, fain when you sense my glee
Which comes from my raven heart
Envying each one it sees

Come Maiden, come, Where are you from?
Come Sufferer, come, I'm from your form
Come Serene, come, I aged, waited long
Come Swinger, come, Take us where you belong
Come Dearie, come, It's now almost nine
Come Loony, come, It's time for a mime

As you enter the nightly palace
Where my Gala evening proclaims
Glamours gowns will be spangling
As thine ornaments gleam

Bleeding goblets, what I serve here
Evanesced lanterns, what glint fear
Deciduous Vines prevail the walls
Of your host's fancy hall

Scene III

As the masses are having their seats
That's when I'll stay astonished as I am
Sincere are the words, that are coming of me
I stood like a leaf that falls from a tree

The mask she wore, was so clear to me
Which from a glance it led me to she
Surprised as I breathed a sigh of relief
Ignoring as I acted, yet so carefree

The cries I heard were nothing to me
This gala will shine, like if it was matinee
So, I will let her sneak to that dream,
For her I yearn to fill the void inside of me

Scene IV

Behold this nature,
When more life or more than life's light
Once and for all shines to recall
Those few who walked upon the skyline
But lifeless whom it recalls,
They're amassed within the sea's locker

But I will answer that lingering noisy light
And stomp upon its veteran stage
Because none ever tried, nor I ever wished
As there's no third between it or me

And when time passes like the waves of a stagnant swamp
It's when all the riddles of this life got one endeavor
And what shines faster and brighter at the very outset
Not sure if it's not itself whose its heat devours
It's just not for once, but it's for all indeed

When will the lanterns shine
With Deciduous Vines' blaze? when will I dance again
With libidinous bearded virgins? whose are killing me
For how long the moonstruck laughing kins
Won't bear anyone even themselves?
In this iron cage of life it's where they all will be

Scene V

Here, here
The scorn arises from their eyes, sets us on fire
Hey, wait
Don't I know you, the one with words
Locked in what empowers thy chords
Which shall show me whom I desire
But here's a liar locked within fire
Where? Where?
From where you shall begin to understand
While I only bemire and enfire
But before you understand let me see,
If I really don't know thee,
The one who holds the patience lore
If together we will be no more
Teach me how to build an empire
Only with mire if it's not so dire

Scene VI

Rapt I sat with me and its tattered mind
Allah gave me a double of what I wanted
One with defects and another without them
Yet having one laugh, voice, face and thoughts

If I am an artist, who will be my actress?
The one I banned from a role which means life
From a latent crush to a deepest willingness
Of preserving you in thee, till I'm delighted

But neither the first has a plan,
Nor the second had the chance to choose
Which among the acts of reality
As I attempt to gain from both, not to lose

That's when the lanterns shine
With Deciduous Vines' blaze, and I dance again
With libidinous bearded virgins, and the laughing kins
And obese immoral mannish creatures
Who thier shapes are killing me
In this iron cage of life it's where we all will be
