Decisions Poem by Dustin Newman

Why does it hurt so much?
Why does the pain linger?
Why can you not forget?
But through adversity comes strength,
Comes opportunity,
Comes life.
Courage is needed to make the truly difficult decisions in life.
To go through pain, to know your true worth, is essential to your being.
You are nothing without trials and tribulations.
Those things are what make you that one unique person.
Your decisions, your experiences are your own.
Within pain is a door. A door that leads to greater things.
To drown in self-pity and regret is to lose the essence of yourself.
Your are greater than ANY problem thrown at you.
And can overcome ANY seemingly insurmountable problem.
You are not alone.
You are not the first to face these things nor will you be the last.
With every question there is an answer.
With every problem there is a solution.
With every pain there is love.
